PROTOCOLS FOR ADDRESSING PROPS INCURSIONS
All personal are requested and required to adhere to the following protocols to minimize the threat of the props"incursion" to both civilians and operatives.
· Take all reports of "awakened toys" seriously. Some may be "copy-cat" reports from excited children, but as we do not currently know the capabilities of the props,we cannot assume that unexpected behavior represents "overactive imagination"
· The objective of operations is to contain props incursions. At present, props incursions are estimated at 64% contained, though this may be an overestimate.
· Props have not been known to hurt civilians intentionally, though they may lash out at individuals (Lancers, police or civilians) who attempt to detain them. Up till now, all damage has been to property. However, we must be prepared for the possibility that props may enter a second phase of deployment and attack human beings in the future. It may also be possible that the current set of props are only scouts for a more serious incursion.
· During containment ops, please avoid the following actions:
· Excessive use of shard cards. Some shard cards have been stolen and modified by props. Avoid giving them opportunities to upgrade their capabilities.
· Using Lancer skills. Props have shown to acquire unexpected combat abilities through learning and imitation.
· Draining ammunition resources. The ammunition resources carried during each operation are limited; please manage ammunition carefully to ensure a smooth operation.
· IMPORTANT Some Lancers have made humorous remarks about "harmless" and "cute" toys. Props must be taken seriously until their logic is understood and intentions are known.
