Re: Technical Specs for the approaching TidalFury concert
Thank you for booking Tidal Fury at your venue. I’m attaching the full list of technical specs for the band’s equipment (loading dock specifications, floor weightcapacity, speaker stack amperage, no brown M&Ms in the green room etc.) I want to draw your attention to some special hotel arrangements they require.
o Aura expects to stay in the penthouse suite. There must be a bedroom, a living room, a wet bar, and a dining table, as well as a balcony with view of the dawn.
o In comparison, Hollowpoint has an aversion to windows. If you can kit out a small conference room with a bed, that has worked for us in the past. It is not enough to close the curtains. She likes to have a solid wall between her and the outside world when she is sleeping. However, she is not particular about her sleeping arrangement otherwise, and some establishments have housed her very happily in the basement.
o I assume your establishment has an all-faith prayer/meditation room which Kismet can use late at night. She's willing to share it so long as people are chill.
o Nitro is very approachable and finds it hard to say no to interesting mechanical challenges. However we need her undistracted. Please ask your maintenance workers and engineers not to approach her with problems with the HVAC, windshear issues, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc. If they do, we will have to charge you for her services. Music is her hobby and engineering is her calling, so you do not want that expense on your tab, I promise.
o Nitro is a roller derby fan. If there is a roller derby match within 45 minutes of the venue the day after the concert, please arrange two tickets for her (in case she wants to bring a date) and do not let them know she is coming in case she has to change her plans. She hates letting people down.
o Sonar only sleeps comfortably underwater. If you can arrange an aquarium with minimum dimensions 2.5 m by 1.5 m by 1 m in her suite, that would be ideal. If not, she can use your pool. (A normal hot tub or jacuzzi is not large enough.) However, the water cannot be chlorinated, so you will probably have to empty and refill it for her, and of course cordon off the pool area from regular guests.
o We prefer that the hotel embargo any references in their socials to the band’s presence. Most hotels are discreet, but we have had issues with overexcited employees.
o The band members will arrive on a tour bus, and there will likely be a large group of fans following behind, so more employees are needed to maintain order. Please be sure to protect the bus, as it is one of the stage setups requested by Tidal Fury.
o Any of your employees who are not on duty are welcome to attend the soundcheck/run-through the afternoon before the concert.
