A new girl group is about to tour the Shards!
Everyone knows pop star Ning Fu, whose album Mistakes I Made still hasn't slipped off the charts. And most people know she's the same person as the Lancer Aura, who fights off alien threats, and prospects for glunite with her fellow Lancers.
But now she's formed a rock'n'roll band with a unique membership requirement: you have to be a Lancer!
The name of the band is Tidal Fury -- in honor of Mariana, the watery Shard the lead singer, Skylla Ula Manta (Lancer name: Sonar), hails from. The other members are Nanae Lopes (Nitro) on keyboards, Tatyana Milevska (Hollowpoint) on guitar, and Yan Dao (Kismet) on drums.
"Our goal is to make people aware of what happened to Mariana, and make sure it doesn't happen here. All our profits are going to rebuilding Mariana," says Ms. Ning.
"And get people up on their feet screaming," adds Ms. Manta.
The band is touring with their first album, Together We Rise, which is already in the top ten.
Of course, they're still Lancers, so when they’re not performing kickass songs or selling out stadiums, Tidal Fury is standing by to stop any Parasite outbreaks in the Shards along with their fellow Lancers.
And unite the Shards! "The Smash-Up broke everyone apart," says Ms. Yan. "We want to stitch them back together. With every Shard we visit, we want to inspire hope and connection."

The band Tidal Fury is just about to begin their tour across the Shards. According to the current schedule, they will perform at Acme in two weeks.

Sonar (Skylla Ula Manta) - Lead Vocalist
Skylla leads the group with her unique voice and mesmerising stage presence. While initially reluctant to become a performer rather than a frontline warrior for Mariana, Skylla has embraced Tidal Fury and the positive impact it’s had on the Shards.
Aura (Ning Fu) - Bassist
The famed musician from the Yong Shard is known for her confessional songwriting style and soulful voice. She rose to prominence with her pipa playing, where she performed for constantly sold-out venues.
Nitro (Nanae Lopes) - Keys
Many know Nanae as the hot headed Lancer with a penchant for speed and acceleration. When she’s not racing on the tracks, tinkering with her gadgets, or fighting bad guys, Nanae is messing around on her keyboard. She especially enjoys creating synth samples, many of which can be heard on the new album.
Hollowpoint (Tatyana Milevska) - Guitar
Tatyana spent most of her childhood moving from place to place, but her one constant was music. She began taking classical lessons after discovering an old guitar in her grandmother’s attic. Since then, her guitar has become her place of solace. Tatyana’s first love may be Meteora, but her guitar is a close second.
Kismet (Yan Dao) - Percussion
Yan Dao has been a rebel all her life. She’s never wanted to settle on just one thing. Perhaps that’s why Yan turned to percussion. She enjoys the variety of instruments that come with being a percussion player. Whether it’s the tambourine, drums, timpani, xylophone, or even the triangle…the instruments are at Yan’s fingertips. When performing with Tidal Fury, Yan is always changing things up, keeping each concert fresh and unpredictable.
