As you know, our investigations into Acme's two mega-corps (Kepler, Eastvale) have been proceeding apace. Unfortunately, both companies have recently become aware of our operations, and conducting future investigations may prove to be a challenge, if not impossible. We apologize for this breach in privacy. Nevertheless, we had already made significant breakthroughs—especially regarding Eastvale Holdings—and we are happy to share our findings here today.
To recap: Eastvale has always presented itself as an aggressive monopoly. Before the Smash-Up, their vast network of foundational industries and global supply chains made it a force widely feared, even by Kepler. After the Smash-Up, however, Eastvale was forced to rebuild from the ground up. This disaster did not have the same effect on Kepler, whose focus on high-tech innovation and aerospace helped ensure they thrived after Acme was ripped from Earth. The company rapidly expanded, and since then, Eastvale has become extremely wary of Kepler. Although Eastvale holds a monopoly on Shard Card manufacturing and possesses established outposts and research bases across multiple Shards, they remain perpetually one step behind their rival. They have so far prevented Kepler from fully realizing their hostile intentions—but at this point, Eastvale can only deter them for so long.
The recent breakthrough in our investigation occurred during the winter festival season. To our great surprise, Eastvale's CEO (hereby referred to as Mr. Chang) used private channels to directly contact Tatyana Milevska of the Lancer Corps. Tatyana had previously been framed as the failed assassin who attempted to kill Mr. Chang, but these accusations were dropped after an anonymous party proved her innocence. Mr. Chang has now expressed interest in working with Tatyana and invited her to Eastvale HQ. We respect Tatyana's right to keep her conversation with Mr. Chang private; however, we do want to share that Eastvale is fully aware of its own situation, which one of their representatives described to us as "dire." They urgently require reliable allies to help resolve internal conflicts and counter Kepler’s growing threat.
If Eastvale reaches out to you, friends, based on the information we’ve gathered, their intentions appear genuine: they seek cooperation with the Lancers. By removing their corrupt board members and redefining their future goals, perhaps Eastvale will see who their real enemies are vs. who they can count as true allies. With harmony, connection, and new cross-Shard logistics and supply chains, Eastvale seeks to overtake their rivals in a new era.
At least, that is what they've told us.
